November 2009 Newsletter

Can you believe it! We are a month away from Christmas!!! The year is slowly coming to an end. If you sit down and look back at the year you might find that it has had its ups and downs, but you have made it, and there are monuments of victories that God had given you by grace. No one can ever take that away from you and it is good to sometimes remind yourself what He has done and that His promises will come true in your life, He is the Word, and the Truth!

We at Kingdom Light have had an awesome year, we have seen God take us though and move us in to a new season of Radical Grace. Grace is not a teaching it is THE GOSPLE! It is a person, Jesus Christ.

There have been some great moments through out there year that I want to mention, our Prophetic Worship Conference with Mervis and Sonja vd Merwe, Arthur Meintjies Conference and Collin McGeer are some of the times of blessing we had! Our women's day (Godzilla to Cinderella) was a great success, and Elbie really ministered to women's hearts. The "Wild men of God" evening touched men young and old. Dave anointed the men and Knighted them afterwards.

Our potjie kos day, could not have been a better day, everyone had such a great time! The kids had slip and slide and a jumping castle and there were a few quad bikes to. Each pot was great, but 1st and 2nd prices went to deserved winners, congrats!

WE are planning some wonderful things for next year so keep watching this space and keep your ears open.

To everyone who has had a part in this year, from helping to visiting to partnering with us financially, we want to say THANK YOU!  We are looking forward to next year in expectation of the great things God is going to do in Kingdom Light Church!!

Hear is a thought for the month of November:
Abraham had a promise from God that God was going to give him a son, and as time went on he became weary and maybe even a bit frustrated, Sarah came to him and said lets make a plan, take Hagar and make a son...what a distraction with works, he wanted to do it by himself and his wife spoke a word of disbelieve, and he acted on that rather that believing the promise of God. Ishmael was born, son of the bond women and the Bible calls him the Law in Galatians. Now here is the grace of God, God still gives him Isaac, it was a promise, God will not go back on His promises. God then says to Abraham "cast out the bond women" you see law and grace can not go hand in hand, either you trust God or you believe you can do it. (Sarah or Hagar) you own efforts might produce some sort of result but it will not last, cause the flesh will fail, it is weak. Gods promise can never fail because it is Him, and its guaranteed by the Spirit living in you.

So today if you feel weary and frustrated, stand in faith, that you are the righteousness of Christ, and that you are heir of the world, don't you think its time to start believing it!!

Dates to remember:
