May 2009 Newsletter
Hi everyone, we are slowly moving closer to the middle of the year and as it approaches we tend to look at what has passed and what we have done up to now. We evaluate, we compare and we look ahead to what is still coming. God has been so good to us and we have heard so many testimonies of people who have experienced the goodness of God in their lives. Claudia mentioned last night in the worship how God revealed to her that He is inviting us to come and taste His goodness!
I believe that God is revealing Himself all around us, but do we look for Him in our everyday life. In Romans Paul writes that God is revealing Himself everywhere; if we open our eyes and ears we would be surprised how amazing God really is. We don't recognize God in and around us; we don't recognize our healings, blessings, breakthroughs and our state of being! Today I want to ask you: Who are you???
I truly believe that many of us have an idea, but not a revelation that has changed you mind ones and for all. We are cadged lions, our nature is wild, King of the jungle and powerful, but our mind has been trained to be TAME! God says in Jeremiah 31 v 31 "I want to write my law in their minds and in their hearts" it is repeated in Hebrews 8 and 10, but in 10 God changed it around to "heart and mind" saying that what God has written in our hearts, sealed by the HOLY SPIRIT, needs to move from the heart to the mind, meaning CHANGE YOUR MIND!!
It is our mindset about who we are and who our father is that needs to change, be renewed. You are a son of God, recognize it.
Whatever is not recognized is not celebrated, whatever is not celebrated is not rewarded, and whatever is not rewarded will exit eventually!!
Let that simmer for a moment, apply that to your life and see the results. Recognize that you are blessed, perfect, righteous and justified, that you are a son of God, so don't you think its time to act that way, walk that way, talk that way, expect that way!
May this month be your breakthrough!

To all the women who attended our first Women's Morning: From Godzilla 2 Cinderella - We had a fabulous time with honesty, laughter and God in the midst of all of it! Also to the women who helped with the arrangements and helping hands...we appreciate you! Know this will be a yearly event, not to be missed.
Our first testimonies:
San-Louise Botha from Strand had to go for a eye test last week, because her glasses has been giving her trouble lately. When she got to the specialist he tested her eyes, and after many teat he returned with the following assessment "you don't need glasses anymore..."
She took the word of immortality and spoke it over her life and has believed that God will restore her youth, and healing in her eyes has take place after wearing glasses for many years!
"God answered my prayers, I was desperately in need of a car and after finding one that was sufficient I just couldn't afford the whole deposit of R10 000. I kept on praying to God an after returning to the seller a second time; they expected me to pay only an amount of R500 as a deposit! God answered my prayer! He is such a powerful God in my life! I now have this car...and am so thankful for it." Ivy - Strand Church
