February 2009 Newsletter
Well, well it's the month of February, and as the year slowly starts getting momentum I sit and look at what God has in store still for this year and the expectation rises in my heart.
I meditate on what is good, pure, true, noble, and lovely (Phil 4 v 8) you see the previous verse of this chapter says that we should not be anxious, but make our requests known to God and let the PEACE that surpasses all understanding GUARD our MIND and HEART through CHRIST JESUS. When we meditate on the good and pure we don't fill our minds with distractions and our heart is focused on the promises of God!!!
Matt 12 v 28 Jesus said he knew their thoughts, he said a kingdom divided against it self can not stand, every house divided will fall. We are of the kingdom of LIGHT and the kingdom of light has to bow to light. The things of the unseen must rule over the seen.
John 1 starts by saying in the beginning were the word and every thing created by the word, the spiritual was first and out of it came the seen. Where does a dream or idea start? As we meditate on the spiritual was start releasing it through faith. Faith is the mirror to the unseen. YOU HAVE GOT TO BELIEVE!!! Faith is not something we do it's the nature of who we are as the family.
Col 3 v 1 says seek the things that are above (kingdom) Practice this everyday, meditate on your promises, blessing and healing. As this becomes a part of your heart, PEASE will guard it and you will start walking in peace and seeing the unseen rule over your seen!!
Now keeping that in mind I want to end with this - As a family we don't give because of NEED, but because we want to be PART OF WHAT GOD IS DOING!!! 2 Cor 9 v 8 - all things abound to us - God doesn't what to take something from you, but wants to get something to you!!! Get into the FAST LANE OF GIVING!!
Seek the kingdom first. WE as leaders follow this principal that the first fruit of every thing is our tithe, we do that first and as we have been doing this as a kingdom principal we see the results!!!
SEE THE UNSEEN AND RELEASE IT BY FAITH.. GOD IS YOUR SOUCE, HE WANTS TO GET SOMETHING TO YOU WITH THIS, NOT TAKE IT FROM YOU!!!
