Hi everyone, hope the winter cold and rain is not affecting you to much and that the colds and flu has not come and knocked at your door. I know that there are a few people who has had scares with the Swine Flu, but God is still the healer and has healed us all in Christ on the cross, so don't fall in the trap that so many of us including myself do, is to FEAR, 2 Tim Paul writes to Timothy and says to him "God has not given us a spirit of fear but of LOVE POWER AND A SOUND MIND" did you see that its not just love and power, but a sound mind that we should have, unmovable believe system that knows that the same spirit that rose Jesus from the dead , the most powerful Spirit in and on the earth lives in us!
If you didn't come to the services of Arthur Meintjies this month in Malmesbury and Bellville make sure you get the cd's and dvd's, it will bless you. We had an awesome time with him and will keep you updated when he will be back early next year.
The YWAM (Youth With A Mission) team is with us till the 16th of August and we have had such a great time going out into the streets an quatter camps praying for people. We will have some pictures on the website and facebook for those who want to see. If you want to get involved in outreaches and want to know more about the prophetic school we are running in Strand on a Monday and Bellville on a Tuesday please feel free to contact myself or Gerrie or just come to the evenings and you will be blessed by it.
31 October is our family day in Strand everyone (Bellville, Strand, Malmesbury, Fishoek and Agullhas) are invited, it will be a potjiekos competition with some prizes, but don't feel threaded its just for fun, we will have jumping castles for the kids so bring them along.
It will be at the Strand rugby club just behind Strand High school.
NB: Collin McGeer will be ministering at us at the end of October!! Don't miss it!!
Dave ministered on Identity a few Sundays ago, Johan Meyer who is in Strand came forward at the end of the service and read something that he had written that week prior to the Sunday, it confirmed the message and we felt that we wanted every one to read it too..
My True Identity (Johan Meyer and F. du Toit)
I have discovered a greater identity to that of my physical conception, an identity not by the desire of a natural parent, but by the deliberate resolve and affectionate desire of God, the Father of lights, in whom there is no distortion or hidden agenda.
I was conceived by the unveiled logic of God and brought forth by his word of truth.
I am His personal invitation, His perfection, his completeness, His character, lacking nothing, both design and redemption
God's Sabbath rest is the celebration of my perfection in Jesus Christ.
Before Adam was, I was in the original blueprint thoughts of God. His Word, God in essence, incarnated in me, became flesh, finding accurate expression of Himself, His character, His image and likeness revealed in my human form.
Genesis 1 : 26 came alive to me again, making me stand tall in the stature of the invisible God "if you have see the father.." (John 14 : 9)
Christ in whom all deity dwells and me, realizing and retuning to my original completeness in Him, I am now His unveiled mirror reflection of my authentic design, made anew, adorned in splendor, as the bride, awaiting the coming of the bridegroom!!!
I breath His love, His peace, His favor, His joy, kindness, goodness and bearing the fruit of His presence
My whole being is now illuminated by his power for good and for the profit of serving the body of Christ through faith in my new identity...
Like the creation of a new day.
Testimony (M. Brand, Malmesbury)
End of last year I lost my job because of staff cutbacks at the company I as working at, seeing that I was 1 of 2 people that started the last we were first to go. I really enjoyed working there and had built up wonderful relationships with everyone there that to this day remains and I often visit with them.
I fell in to depression, for the first time in 21 years I am not working and contributing to the house hold. My accounts needed to be paid but there was no money. I took my Edgars account out and prayed over it, you see trusting God is all that I needed to do, God showed me that my identity was not in my job but in God and the love I have for my family.
So as it was I received I letter in the my at the end of the month, old mutual deducted money out of my account incorrectly and had deposited it back, it was exactly the amount I needed to pay my Edgars account!!!
You see God works even in the small things.
In regards to my Job, I have received many offers to return back to the work place, but I am waiting on God to guide me now. God has taken me out of the traditional church and shown me the where His spirit is the life!!
